Modern Coast Express operations license was yesterday suspended following a directive by the Roads, Transport, and Public works CS, Kipchumba Murkomen after one of its bus plunged into River Kisii leaving one dead and others injured.
The following are some of the routes affected by the suspension;
- Mombasa – Highway (Upcountry)
- Nairobi – Malindi
- Mombasa – Nairobi
- Nairobi – Upcountry and vice versa
Routes not affected by the ban include;
- Nairobi – Kampala
- Nairobi – Kigali
- Nairobi – Bujumbura and vice versa
Customers who had booked tickets in advance shall be offered alternatives means to their respective destinations.
