Night travel in the country has been suspended Indefinitely after President Uhuru Kenyatta imposed a 7pm to 5am curfew. The curfew is meant to help curb the ongoing coronavirus pandemic whose cases have now reached 31 with one confirmed death.
The curfew will affect greatly on the night bus travel which has forced bus companies in the country to suspend night travels and make alternative timings and arrangements to the already booked night traveling buses.
Travellers were therefore have been expected to have made earlier consultations with the relevant bus companies on the new travel timings to avoid any inconveniences to their travel plans.
The government had also ordered a 60 per cent carrying capacity on public transport as a measure to curb the COVID-19 virus which has lead to a hike in travel fares.
