A passenger aboard a Mombasa bound Chania bus dies in mysterious circumstances after he coughs, collapses and dies.
The bus was heading for Mombasa from Nairobi town when it made it usual stopover at Taleh Hotel in Mtito Andei where the incident occurred.
The passenger alighted to go use the bathroom but did not return. It is believed that he developed a cough before he collapsed and died.
Public Health Officers in Kibwezi arrived at the scene, moved the body and fumigated the bus.
Confirming the incident, Makueni county commissioner Maalim Mohamed said contacts of the passengers were recorded and they were advised to go and self-quarantine in fears that the passenger may have died from Coronavirus.
