On the morning of 15/3/2019 at around 5.30am a bus from Modern Coast alias ‘Modern 3’ heading to Kampala was involved in a head on collision with a trailer heading the opposite direction at Nakawa,along the Jinja-Tororo highway.
The head on lead to a loss of 3 confirmed lives however all the 14 passengers on board at the time of the accident are alive – this is according to a tweet from Modern Coast official Twitter handle.
Reports received indicate the driver of the truck who is believed to be under the influence of alcohol lost control and veered right colliding with Modern Coast bus.
